Position Overview:

This role is designed to be a hybrid position, allowing for a blend of in-office and remote work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage with business stakeholders to comprehend and document precise requirements.
  • Act as the internal Subject Matter Expert (SME) for designated projects, addressing all project-related inquiries from team members, Business Analysts, and the project team.
  • Work autonomously with minimal oversight.
  • Develop and assess test plans and testing strategies based on business specifications.
  • Design and implement comprehensive test cases derived from functional specifications.
  • Adjust and sustain existing test cases as necessary in response to updated functionalities.
  • Maintain the Test Case repository with the latest modifications and execute tests on demand using industry-standard testing tools.
  • Participate in all facets of testing, including Functional, System Integration, Regression, and User Acceptance Testing.
  • Document, review, and re-evaluate defects, ensuring that all critical defects are addressed at the appropriate level before product launch.
  • Collaborate with the testing lead to conduct regular gap analyses and strategize to enhance test coverage.
  • Possess hands-on experience with App Center and Test Flight build verification processes essential for mobile testing.
  • Mobile test automation experience is advantageous.
  • Demonstrate a robust understanding of Test Data management.
  • Exhibit the ability to adapt to a fast-paced Scrum delivery environment.
  • Enhance test coverage and deliver high-quality outputs.

Qualifications:

  • 4-8 years of experience in testing web-based and/or mobile applications.
  • A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; 4 years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Familiarity with industry-standard defect management tools.
  • Capability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Professional interaction skills with a diverse group, including executives, managers, and subject matter experts.
  • Experience working with geographically dispersed development and testing teams.
  • Exposure to backend/data validation testing.
