Quality Assurance Associate

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough audits of inbound and outbound shipments to guarantee accuracy and quality.
  • Audit vendor shipments for construction, quality, consistency, packaging, and labeling.
  • Document findings and communicate with Merchandising to determine acceptable quality levels and resolve issues.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality-related issues and improve processes.
  • Process return-to-vendor transactions to minimize losses.
  • Follow loss prevention and security guidelines to prevent inventory shrinkage and profit loss.
  • Promote a culture of respect and teamwork to foster a positive working environment.
  • Adhere to company safety guidelines to prevent personal injury and damage.

Requirements:

  • Ability to move and/or lift up to 65 pounds with team assistance.
  • Proven proficiency in English language skills.
  • Word, Excel, Outlook knowledge required.
  • Must work effectively as a team member.
  • Basic math required.
  • Previous furniture experience preferred.
  • High school diploma/GED or equivalent preferred.
  • Understanding of the AS400 system preferred.
