About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Engineering Technician II to join our team at Sierra Space. As an Engineering Technician II, you will be responsible for constructing, troubleshooting, calibrating, testing, and maintaining our equipment, components, devices, or systems.

About You

We are looking for a dreamer who aligns with our values, vision, and audacious goals. The ideal candidate will have an Associate's degree in a related field of study and at least 2 years of relevant experience. Previous experience in machining, assembly, and manufacturing is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Construct, troubleshoot, calibrate, test, and maintain equipment, components, devices, or systems
  • Ensure systems and components meet established specifications
  • Work with standard laboratory test equipment, other measurement equipment, hand tools, and power tools

Requirements

  • Associate's degree in a related field of study and at least 2 years of relevant experience
  • Ability to read and understand mechanical and electrical drawings, diagrams, schematics, and manuals
  • Ability to work with standard laboratory test equipment, other measurement equipment, hand tools, and power tools

Working Conditions

  • Occasionally exposed to outdoor elements (high/low temperatures, sun, rain/snow, etc.)
  • Occasionally exposed to fumes or hazardous chemicals/materials
  • Occasionally exposed to loud noises
