Job Summary:The Senior Assistant Resident Engineer will serve as a key member of the Resident Engineer's office, responsible for overseeing the construction of highway projects. This role requires strong technical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with contractors, engineers, and other stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:- Oversee the construction of highway projects, ensuring compliance with departmental specifications, standard drawings, and policies.
- Supervise and train junior engineers and technicians, providing guidance and support to ensure successful project execution.
- Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets, ensuring timely completion and within budget.
- Collaborate with contractors, engineers, and other stakeholders to resolve issues and ensure project success.
- Prepare and present technical reports, presentations, and other documentation to support project decisions and outcomes.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field from an accredited institution.
- At least 3 years of experience in highway construction project management, with a focus on contract administration and technical expertise.
- Strong technical knowledge of highway construction, including materials, methods, and equipment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple projects and deadlines.
