About the Role

Cisco is seeking a highly skilled Hardware Engineer II to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and developing innovative hardware solutions that meet the needs of our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop hardware systems, including circuit boards, ASICs, and other electronic components.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that hardware designs meet the needs of our customers and align with our business goals.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, test plans, and technical reports.
  • Work with our supply chain operations team to ensure that hardware components are sourced and manufactured to meet our quality and delivery requirements.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of new technologies and processes to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of our hardware engineering team.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 0-3 years of experience in hardware engineering, with a focus on design and development.
  • Strong understanding of engineering fundamentals, including circuit design, electronics, and materials science.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficient in a range of software tools, including CAD, simulation, and testing software.
