Insurance Claims Representative Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Insurance Claims Representative to join our team at Cincinnati Insurance Company, Inc. As a Field Claims Representative, you will be responsible for investigating and evaluating multi-line insurance claims, providing exceptional customer service, and working collaboratively with our independent agents.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough claim investigations, including interviewing insureds, claimants, and witnesses
  • Evaluate claim facts and policy coverage, and inspect property and auto damages
  • Prepare reports of findings and secure settlements with insureds and claimants
  • Use claims-handling software, company car, and mobile applications to adjust loss in a paperless environment
  • Provide superior and professional customer service
Requirements:
  • Be available and communicative during regular business hours
  • Have a desire to learn about the insurance industry and provide a great customer experience
  • Be able to work unsupervised and have excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Have strong interpersonal skills, excellent problem-solving, negotiation, organizational, and prioritization skills
  • Be prepared to follow-up with others in a timely manner and have a valid driver's license
