Job Title: Commercial Customer Support Specialist

This role provides administrative support to the Commercial Underwriting team, including assistance with incoming correspondence, emails, phone calls, inspection requests, and faxes. The ideal candidate is experienced in handling Customer Service calls, reviewing and processing non-premium bearing endorsements, supporting the Citizens Imports, assisting with rating, and ordering various underwriting reports.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provides administrative support with new business activities and binding documents.
  • Responsible for scanning and indexing of incoming faxes, correspondence, document upload items, and commercial email inbox items.
  • Handles Customer Service inquiries as part of the department phone queue.
  • Performs data entry with rating programs, Mail Merge Documents, and reviews and processes document uploads.
  • Provides administrative and data entry support with Citizens Take-Out policies.
  • Assists with processing non-premium bearing endorsements, requests for loss runs, and AOR changes.
  • Complies with productivity, quality, file documentation requirements, and service standards.
Requirements:
  • 2-5 years of administrative support in commercial property and casualty insurance.
  • Knowledge of Commercial Underwriting department policies, procedures, and terminology.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Strong computer skills and systems knowledge.
  • Ability to multi-task efficiently and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent customer service skills and phone etiquette.
  • 440 License, or the ability to obtain a 440 license if necessary.
  • High School Graduate or Equivalent.
