Job Summary

Cox Automotive is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Commercial Services Specialist II to manage inventory for Commercial clients. This role involves extensive communication with internal and external stakeholders, problem-solving, and auditing expenses to ensure client expectations and deadlines are met. The ideal candidate will have strong multitasking and prioritization skills, as well as excellent communication and organizational abilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external business partners.
  • Assist with auction operations from start to finish, including notifying customers of sale results.
  • Input vital vehicle information into the Application System /400 and database.
  • Establish, update, verify, and maintain vehicle and pricing files.
  • Collaborate with the title department to ensure titles and other necessary documents are in hand for each vehicle.
  • Manage vehicle inventory reports, investigate errors, and verify sale eligibility.
  • Partner with departments to prepare and notify customers of sale run processes.
  • Follow up on sale vehicle prep, reconcile bills, and contact partners for missing information and issues.
  • Communicate with the accounting team to balance sales and perform post-sale invoicing as needed.
  • Provide administrative and clerical support, as well as assist with special projects and graphics requests.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma/GED and 3 years' experience in a related field.
  • OR a different combination of education and experience, such as a degree or certification beyond a HS diploma/GED in a related discipline.
  • OR 5 years' experience in a related field.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, receptive to change, and able to multitask.
  • Prior clerical or administrative experience required.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel required.
  • Commitment to providing excellent customer service required.
  • Ability to operate adding machines and other office equipment.
  • Ability to sit or stand for prolonged periods of time.
  • Strong communications and organizational skills required.
