Under the supervision of the Call Center Supervisor, this role is pivotal in the execution and assessment of the patient care workflow. The individual will exhibit the necessary skills and competencies to effectively assist patients and perform additional responsibilities as required.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**

1. Responds to all incoming communications promptly and professionally, ensuring appropriate call transfers while maintaining confidentiality.

2. Takes and conveys messages efficiently, checking voicemail as necessary.

3. Accurately inputs personal, guarantor, and insurance details into the designated software.

4. Manages patient registrations, ensuring the correct spelling of patient names.

5. Collects identification and insurance documentation.

6. Schedules and reschedules appointments for both new and returning patients, including appointment reminder calls.

7. Verifies insurance information.

8. Facilitates online appointment scheduling.

9. Addresses patient inquiries and provides necessary support.

10. Performs other related tasks as assigned.

**QUALIFICATIONS**

Must possess a High School Diploma or equivalent. Experience in a call center or medical office environment is preferred. Strong data entry skills, general clerical aptitude, and basic record-keeping knowledge are essential. The ability to perform simple calculations accurately and efficiently is required. Must be capable of interacting with a diverse range of customers in a professional and pleasant manner, even under pressure. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to maintain confidentiality are crucial. Must be able to follow simple oral and written instructions and adhere to departmental routines. Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel is necessary.
