Cardiac Monitoring Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Cardiac Monitoring Technician to join our team at Insight Global Healthcare.
Job SummaryThis role involves receiving ECG transmissions, providing technical analysis of ECG data, generating reports to physicians, and communicating with patients and physicians as necessary.
Key Responsibilities- Stay up-to-date on developing clinical knowledge, specifically ECG rhythm interpretation
- Review ECG recordings and related algorithm findings for clinical accuracy and completeness
- Notify Monitoring Technician Level II in communicating ECG abnormalities according to physician notification protocol
- Ensure quality assurance of readings and reports delivered to physicians
- Assist in facilitating activation of EMS
- Active CRAT/CCT certification (or willing to get) OR RN OR Paramedic/EMT with current ACLS
- High School Diploma or GED
- At least 6 months of related work experience (EKG/ECG)
- Proficiency using a computer and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
- Customer service: using telephone and computer
- Knowledge of medical terminology specific to cardiac/cardiology
This role can be for 4 (10 hour days) or 5 (8 hour days) shifts, with options for weekend shifts and rotating weekend shifts.
