As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment, providing exceptional customer service, and working closely with our Executive Chef and Executive Director to ensure resident satisfaction with our food and dining programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain kitchen and dish room areas in a clean, safe, and sanitary condition at all times.
  • Provide a high level of customer service and promote a restaurant-style dining atmosphere.
  • Work closely with the Executive Chef and/or Executive Director to keep residents satisfied with food and dining programs.
  • Wash and store all dishes and equipment in accordance with policy and procedures.
  • Keep kitchen floors clean (sweeps and mops) and trash emptied.
  • Assist with the transportation and proper storage of food and supplies.
  • Complete assigned food preparation as required.
  • Adhere to standard food safety practices.
  • Assist cooks and wait staff as requested.
  • Attend pre-meal stand-up in the kitchen prior to meal service.
  • Build positive and strong relationships with employees, coworkers, and residents.
  • Accept and effectively follow direction from superiors or other experienced staff.
  • Share job knowledge or resident information with others as needed.
  • Must abide by company uniform policy.
