We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our team at GPAC. As a Heavy Equipment Mechanic, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing heavy machinery, ensuring the smooth operation of our clients' equipment.
Responsibilities:- Troubleshoot and diagnose repair needs to ensure equipment is functioning properly
- Read and interpret technical drawings and schematics to identify repair requirements
- Repair heavy equipment, including mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems
- Perform routine preventative maintenance and inspections on fuels, fluids, and lubrication systems
- Perform preventative maintenance on industrial hydraulic, electrical, air, and water systems
- Document inspections and repairs to ensure accurate records
- Follow all company and industry regulations and rules
- Occasional field service work may be required
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 2-5+ years' experience in maintenance/service with industrial heavy equipment
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Current Driver's License with a clean driving record
- CDL is a plus but not required
