Job Title: Heavy Equipment Mechanic

We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our team at GPAC. As a Heavy Equipment Mechanic, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing heavy machinery, ensuring the smooth operation of our clients' equipment.

Responsibilities:
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose repair needs to ensure equipment is functioning properly
  • Read and interpret technical drawings and schematics to identify repair requirements
  • Repair heavy equipment, including mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems
  • Perform routine preventative maintenance and inspections on fuels, fluids, and lubrication systems
  • Perform preventative maintenance on industrial hydraulic, electrical, air, and water systems
  • Document inspections and repairs to ensure accurate records
  • Follow all company and industry regulations and rules
  • Occasional field service work may be required
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 2-5+ years' experience in maintenance/service with industrial heavy equipment
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Current Driver's License with a clean driving record
  • CDL is a plus but not required
