Key Responsibilities:

Vulcan Materials Company is seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Technician to join our team. As a key member of our operations, you will be responsible for promoting safety throughout the operation, repairing and maintaining mobile equipment, inspecting equipment and material, handling and moving objects, documenting and recording information, and operating equipment.

Requirements:

  • Previous maintenance and welding experience working on industrial or heavy construction equipment referred to as Yellow Iron
  • Familiarity with CAT, Empire, Vermeer, Volvo, Deere, Komatsu, and other similar companies
  • Demonstrated knowledge of best practices related to using electric, gas, arc, or other welding equipment
  • General knowledge of the occupational hazards involved in welding is preferred
  • Knowledge of general principles and practices of servicing heavy construction equipment is a must
