Office Operations Coordinator

**Job Overview:**
We are currently seeking an Office Operations Coordinator to join our team at Salt Lake Community College. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing general administrative support to the Dean of Students office, working closely with all levels of administration, faculty, staff, students, and visitors.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be proactive in putting together calendars, scheduling meetings, taking meeting minutes, providing accurate responses to inquiries, and following up with action items. They must also be able to work with and safeguard confidential documents while maintaining confidentiality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to the Dean of Students office
- Work with and safeguard confidential documents
- Schedule meetings and take meeting minutes
- Provide accurate responses to inquiries and follow up with action items
- Perform various administrative functions including completing personnel action paperwork, payroll approval, purchasing, budgeting, and handling travel arrangements
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work with confidential documents
- Proficiency in computer software applications including Microsoft Office and database programs (Banner and Maxient)
- Estimated salary: $45,000 - $55,000 per year
