Position Title: Manufacturing Technician

Department: Production

Location: Tampa Distribution Center

Key Responsibilities:

  • Weighing, assembling, packaging, and labeling various cannabis products.
  • Operating necessary equipment as per the manufacturing process.
  • Adhering to established manufacturing protocols.
  • Maintaining accurate records of daily activities and operational logs as required.
  • Focusing on organizational goals related to:
    • Employee and product safety and security.
    • Compliance with all relevant policies, regulations, and laws.
    • Quality assurance of products and packaging.
    • Timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
    • Performance of processes.
  • Engaging in ongoing training and professional development.
  • Performing additional tasks as assigned by manufacturing leadership.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in production within the food, beverage, or pharmaceutical sectors is preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
  • Attention to detail is essential.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage high-pressure situations.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Capability to accept constructive feedback and guidance.
  • Physical ability to lift, push, or pull a minimum of 50 pounds as required.
  • Ability to sit, stand, kneel, bend, or walk for extended periods throughout the workday.
  • Must be at least 21 years old and authorized to work in the US; must possess valid employment documentation and reliable transportation.
  • Successful completion of a Level II background check by the Florida Department of Health.
  • Potential exposure to various environmental factors depending on the work location.

Education:

A minimum of a High School diploma or G.E.D. equivalent is required.

Compensation will be based on experience, and a comprehensive benefits package, including paid time off, is available for this position. The role typically involves an average of 40 hours of work per week, with availability for after-hours emergencies as needed.
