ROLE OVERVIEW
The Human Resources Coordinator will undertake various administrative responsibilities to facilitate the smooth operation of the human resources department. This role requires the candidate to work onsite at our corporate office.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain HR Documentation: Ensure the accurate and timely upkeep of human resource files and records.
- Oversee Performance Evaluations: Manage the performance review cycle, ensuring all evaluations are completed on time and records are maintained.
- Address Employee Inquiries: Serve as a point of contact for employee questions, providing necessary guidance and support.
- Ensure Data Confidentiality: Maintain the integrity and confidentiality of HR files and records.
- Conduct Audits: Regularly audit HR files to confirm all required documents are properly collected and stored.
- Assist with Payroll: Support payroll processes, addressing employee inquiries and resolving any discrepancies.
- Coordinate with Benefits Providers: Act as a liaison between the organization and external benefits vendors.
- Facilitate New Employee Orientation: Conduct orientation sessions for new hires across various locations.
- Plan Employee Events: Assist in organizing special events, including benefits enrollment and employee recognition activities.
- Manage Performance Management: Oversee the performance management process, providing updates on due reviews and necessary training.
- Provide Administrative Support: Offer clerical assistance to the HR department as required.
- Perform Additional Duties: Undertake other responsibilities as assigned.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, capable of handling sensitive situations with professionalism.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
- Ability to quickly learn payroll management and HR information systems.
An associate degree in a relevant field is preferred, along with prior office experience.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
Must be at least 21 years of age and successfully complete a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
This position operates in a professional office setting, utilizing standard office equipment. Flexibility to assist in various departments as needed is essential for success.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Regularly required to communicate effectively, sit for extended periods, and occasionally lift moderate weights. Consistent attendance is crucial.
POSITION TYPE
Standard work hours are Monday through Friday, with potential for occasional overtime.
TRAVEL
Some local travel may be necessary during business hours.
