Position Type: Full Time
Shift: Nights (7pm - 7am)
The Neuro ICU is a specialized 16-bed critical care unit dedicated to providing exceptional nursing care for adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients who meet specific admission criteria.
Our unit is committed to delivering high-quality care to critically ill and neurologically compromised patients within a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment.
We focus on enhancing healthcare through research and education for patients facing life-threatening neurological conditions, including intracranial hemorrhages, brain tumors, spinal disorders, and post-neurosurgical recovery.
The interdisciplinary approach of the Neuro ICU addresses all facets of a patient's life, ensuring holistic care. Our physician leadership comprises critical care boarded anesthesiologists who advocate for our nursing staff. The optimal nurse-to-patient ratio is 2:1, adjustable by the charge nurse based on patient and staffing requirements.
