About the Role

As a Resident Care Coordinator with Community Residences, you will be responsible for creating a nurturing environment and developing strategies to support individuals with developmental disabilities. This role requires a high level of organization, communication skills, and patience.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Create a positive learning environment and develop strategies to support individuals with daily living tasks.
  2. Administer medication as prescribed and monitor medical changes.
  3. Assist with household management, meal preparation, and cleaning.
  4. Transport clients to appointments and outings.
  5. Develop and maintain relationships with clients, families, and community members.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • At least two years of experience in human services preferred.
  • Valid CT driver's license and good driving record required.
  • Ability to lift and transfer 70-75 pounds.
  • Knowledge of developmental disabilities and related programs.

Compensation

We offer an estimated salary of $45,000-$60,000 per year, depending on experience. Benefits include health insurance, paid time off, and opportunities for professional development.
