Job Summary

: We are seeking a highly skilled Wastewater Treatment Specialist to join our team at Anderson County, S.C. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in wastewater treatment and maintenance, with a focus on ensuring the efficient operation of our sewer system.

Key Responsibilities

:
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on equipment and infrastructure to prevent downtime and ensure optimal performance.
  • Operate and maintain various pieces of equipment, including pumps, valves, and treatment plants.
  • Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with other teams to ensure seamless operation of the sewer system.

Requirements

:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Additional vocational or technical school training in wastewater treatment, environmental technology, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in wastewater treatment and maintenance.
