Job Title: Behavioral Health Specialist

Meridian Health Services is seeking a skilled Behavioral Health Specialist to join our team. As a Behavioral Health Specialist, you will work closely with patients and families to develop and implement individualized treatment plans. Your primary responsibility will be to provide skills training and development to assist patients in achieving developmental milestones and reducing psychosocial barriers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist therapists in developing, implementing, and revising individual treatment plans.
  • Provide individual and group skills training and development to patients and families.
  • Collaborate with the clinical team to ensure coordination of care.
  • Complete CANS/ANSA re-assessments.
  • Provide consultation to staff on specific cases involving coordination of care.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent with 2 years of paid behavioral healthcare experience.
  • Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • A valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • A commitment to providing individual attention to help clients achieve mental, emotional, and physical well-being.
