About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Field Service Technician to join our team at Hobart Service. As a key member of our service team, you will be responsible for providing top-notch service and support to our customers across the country.

Key Responsibilities
  • Electrical and Mechanical Troubleshooting: Use your technical expertise to diagnose and repair a variety of commercial food equipment, including cooking, food preparation, ware washers, weigh wrap, baking, and refrigeration units.
  • Customer Service: Work closely with customers to understand their needs and provide solutions that meet their expectations.
  • Productivity and Quality: Meet or exceed weekly productivity and customer-oriented goals while maintaining a high level of customer service.
  • Travel and Flexibility: Typically work from home each morning and travel to customer sites with minimal direct supervision.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: An accredited High School Diploma or GED with 0-2 years of mechanical and electrical experience.
  • Driver's License and Vehicle: A valid Driver's License and the ability to drive multiple hours daily.
  • Availability and Flexibility: Ability to work overtime and on-call as required.
  • Training and Development: Willingness to attend our industry-leading training at our corporate headquarters in Troy, OH.
