About the Role

Key Responsibilities
  • Sell, fit, and dispense eyewear to customers, ensuring a seamless and personalized experience.
  • Meet National Vision's sales and company objectives, driving business growth and success.
  • Adhere to our Code of Conduct, fostering a professional and productive environment for associates and customers alike.
  • Work collaboratively to bring our Mission, Vision, and Values to life, promoting an inclusive and respectful culture.
  • Assist with dispensing eyeglasses and contact lenses, as permitted by state law, and educate customers on proper eyewear and contact lens care.
  • Maintain accurate and organized patient records, ensuring seamless communication and follow-up.
  • Notify customers of order readiness or delays, and assist with picking out eyewear, recommending suitable products for lifestyle and prescription needs.
  • Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls in accordance with National Vision protocol.
  • Ensure the cleanliness of equipment, workstations, and the facility, adhering to safety protocols and maintaining a high level of professionalism.
  • Implement inventory control and loss prevention procedures, safeguarding company assets and minimizing losses.
  • Maintain visual merchandising standards, ensuring a visually appealing and engaging store environment.
Requirements
  • 1+ year of related experience or training in retail/customer service, with a strong focus on sales and customer interaction.
  • Fluency in reading and speaking both English and Spanish, with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse customers.
  • Strong selling skills, with a proven track record of meeting sales targets and exceeding expectations.
  • Ability to provide clear and concise instructions to customers, ensuring a seamless and satisfying experience.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with all levels of employees in a courteous and professional manner.
