About the Role

Warby Parker is seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Apprentice Optician to join our team of in-house optical experts. As an Apprentice Optician, you will play a vital role in helping our customers see the world with clarity and style.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work under the direct supervision of a Certified Optician mentor to learn the skills and techniques required to meet our customers' eyewear needs.
  • Develop expertise in taking and recording measurements, adjusting and fitting eyewear, and executing these tasks with precision and accuracy.
  • Learn to check that our finished eyewear meets our optical standards, as well as customer requirements and requests.
  • Develop the ability to explain prescription terminology and product offerings to customers in a clear and concise manner.
  • Collaborate with your team to ensure that all customers receive exceptional service and support.
  • Learn to help customers choose the best frames and lenses based on their prescription needs, face fit, personal style, and lifestyle.
  • Participate in the development of best practices for sales and customer service that can be implemented throughout the organization.
  • Represent our brand to educate others and promote our values and mission.
