Cashier Office Assistant

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented student worker to join our team in the Cashier Office at Oakton College.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service to students, faculty, and staff
- Collect tuition payments and assist with payment plans
- Explain policies and procedures regarding tuition and payments
- Maintain confidentiality and secure handling of student payment information
- Refer students and visitors to the proper resources/offices
- Assist with data entry and special projects in Accounts Receivable
Requirements:
- Enrolled in at least 6 credit hours during Fall 2024 and Spring semester
- Overall GPA of 2.0 or higher and in good standing at Oakton College
- Eligible to work in the United States
- Cash handling experience of at least 6 months
- Computer skills, including data entry
- Good communication skills
Working Conditions:
The Cashier Office is open Monday through Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm, and we offer a flexible schedule with 15-20 hours per week available.
