Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Biological Sample Management Accessioning Specialist II to join our team at Adaptive Biotechnologies. As a key member of our laboratory operations team, you will be responsible for receiving and accessioning samples, managing sample lifecycles, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Receive and accession samples into our Laboratory Information System
  • Identify and resolve issues with sample shipments and escalate as necessary
  • Enter and upload accurate and complete information into multiple systems
  • Ensure Chain of Custody (COC) documentation for all samples
  • Manage sample storage, transfer, and disposition
  • Perform sample check-in and check-out procedures
  • Transfer samples to other departments as required
Requirements
  • 1+ years of experience in a clinical laboratory or regulated laboratory environment
  • High School Diploma or Associate degree
  • Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Biology, Molecular Biology, Immunology, or Chemistry
  • Experience with LIMS systems and web-based applications
  • High integrity and experience with HIPAA compliance
  • Excellent customer service skills
