We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Marketing Coordinator to join our team at Oak View Group. The successful candidate will provide marketing support services to our in-house advertising agency, working closely with facility users to create and execute marketing campaigns for Greensboro Coliseum Complex events.
Responsibilities- Maintain and support social media marketing efforts, including promotions and contests, event alerts, and updates on Facebook, YouTube, and other networking media.
- Perform graphic design of group fliers, ads, handbills, LED messages, brochures, and other printed material, as well as work on website updates daily.
- Maintain databases for group sales and traditional ticket purchasers, and administer email marketing campaigns and customer service notifications using databases.
- Plan, review, and implement advertising campaigns for Greensboro Coliseum Complex events, clients, and others.
- Purchase show advertising and record both group and advertising settlements, including order forms, invoices, memo bills, promotional recaps, and tear sheets for use in event settlement.
- Assist the Public Relations Manager with live promo events at radio stations, television entertainment, and news organizations.
- Assist with onsite media broadcast prior to and during events.
- Assist with meet and greets involving cast members and show personnel.
- Coordinate intern schedules and street team marketing efforts.
- Working knowledge of website updates, database management, computer software packages, including Microsoft Office, Creative Suite, and social media, including but not limited to YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently on projects.
- Detail-oriented and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to adapt to multi-tasking and constantly changing deadlines.
- Ability to establish and maintain working relationships with other divisions within the facility, clientele, and the general public.
