Job Overview

Boeing, a leader in aerospace innovation, is on the lookout for skilled Systems Engineers to enhance our Precision Engagement Systems (PES) team. This role is pivotal in supporting various programs within the Defense, Space, and Security sector.

As part of the Space, Intelligence and Weapon Systems (SIWS) division, the PES team is committed to excellence and the development of exceptional talent to fulfill critical missions involving Direct Attack and Cruise Missile Systems. Our contributions are vital to our customers' objectives, providing unique capabilities through our talented workforce.

We are currently seeking candidates across multiple experience levels: Associate, Experienced, and Lead Systems Engineers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Employ a collaborative, interdisciplinary approach to design, develop, and verify comprehensive system solutions.
  • Assess customer and operational requirements to define system performance criteria, ensuring compatibility across all interfaces.
  • Conduct analyses to optimize system architecture and performance.
  • Develop Systems Architecture utilizing Model Based Systems Engineering methodologies.
  • Analyze various factors including affordability, safety, and reliability to ensure mission success.
  • Support and enhance requirements management processes and tools.
  • Address and resolve technical challenges across functions.
  • Engage in skill development and rotation initiatives.

Work Environment:

This position requires full onsite presence.

Security Clearance:

Candidates must be eligible to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance, which necessitates U.S. Citizenship.

Basic Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor of Science degree in engineering, computer science, mathematics, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 1 year of engineering experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working independently and collaboratively in team settings.
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant engineering experience.
  • Proven leadership experience in technical team environments.
  • Familiarity with systems development and integration processes.
  • Proficiency in Model Based Systems Engineering tools.

Education and Experience Levels:

Candidates will be evaluated based on their educational background and relevant experience, with specific criteria for Associate, Experienced, and Lead levels.
