Key Responsibilities:

As a Lead Communications Systems Engineer, you will deliver sophisticated solutions to intricate challenges, concentrating on improving user experiences in IT. Your role will be essential in maintaining operational safety and intelligence.

  • Architect and define system frameworks for both new and existing computer systems.
  • Supervise intricate infrastructure and system modeling, simulation, and analysis.
  • Conduct advanced tasks related to system security, backup, and redundancy.
  • Create and sustain process and procedure documentation.
  • Collaborate with management to implement system modifications and activities.
  • Support Tier 2 and 3 operations, manage project rollouts, and oversee daily operations of communication systems.
  • Administer Unified Communications infrastructure and tools such as Cisco Unified Communications Manager, Cisco Unity Connection, Cisco IM&Presence, and Microsoft Teams.
  • Develop and execute Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) along with comprehensive documentation.

Qualifications:

  • Active Top Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility and capability to obtain a CI Poly.
  • In-depth knowledge of Unified Communications design and management.
  • Expertise in various collaboration platforms, including Cisco Jabber and Microsoft Teams.
  • Proficient in Unified Communications system management.
  • Strong skills in data analysis and manipulation using tools like MS Excel.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 8+ years of relevant systems engineering experience in Unified Communications.
