Position Overview:

As a Senior Systems Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring operational safety and advancing technological intelligence. Your expertise will be essential in supporting our intelligence clientele.

Key Responsibilities:

1. **Architectural Design:** Develop and define the systems architecture for both new and existing computing systems.

2. **Complex System Configuration:** Plan and configure intricate engineering systems to optimize performance.

3. **Lifecycle Management:** Oversee the entire lifecycle of systems design, development, and integration.

4. **Infrastructure Engineering:** Design and implement sophisticated infrastructures, including the installation, configuration, testing, and maintenance of operating systems and application software.

5. **Modeling and Simulation:** Create advanced systems modeling, simulation, and analytical frameworks.

6. **Maintenance and Security Solutions:** Conduct ongoing maintenance and devise innovative solutions for security, backup, and redundancy challenges.

7. **Documentation Oversight:** Provide critical insights for the preparation and upkeep of all documentation related to engineering projects.

8. **Technology Awareness:** Stay informed about rapidly evolving technologies and collaborate with management to enhance current processes.

9. **Systems Development:** Engage in complex systems development, including logic design, I/O design, and digital systems engineering.

10. **Operational Efficiency:** Innovate methods to enhance production operational efficiency.

11. **CI/CD Management:** Implement and refine Continuous Integration and Delivery (CI/CD) pipeline tools.

12. **Infrastructure as Code:** Create and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Desired State Configuration (DSC) and/or Puppet tools.

13. **Training and Guidance:** Provide specialized training and technical guidance to team members.

14. **Leadership Role:** May lead teams or tasks and mentor less experienced professionals.

Position Requirements:

Education:
BA/BS or equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work/military experience.

Qualifications:
10+ years of relevant experience in systems architecture.

Active TS/SCI clearance required with eligibility for CI polygraph.

Location:
On Customer Site

Citizenship:
US Citizenship Required

Employment Type:
