Job Title: Engineer-In-Training/Professional Engineer

Job Summary:

J-U-B ENGINEERS, Inc. is seeking a skilled Engineer-In-Training or Professional Engineer to join our Municipal Engineering Team at our Corporate Headquarters in Meridian, ID. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for planning, designing, and implementing critical community infrastructure projects, including water, wastewater, stormwater, irrigation, and general utility engineering.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and design community infrastructure projects, including water, wastewater, stormwater, irrigation, and general utility engineering.
  • Participate in all phases of project planning, design, and construction, including analysis of engineering data and creation of construction-ready plans and specifications.
  • Collaborate with senior engineers, project managers, and sub-consultants to enhance public infrastructure and provide technical focus on project engineering and design services.
  • Partner with government agencies to obtain permits, crossing agreements, easements, encroachments, and other necessary requirements.
  • Organize and conduct meetings with consulting partners, contractors, clients, and agencies to coordinate and support multi-disciplinary projects throughout the company.
  • Utilize design tools such as AutoCAD Civil3D, Microsoft Excel, ArcGIS Pro, and Aquanuity to deliver high-quality engineering services.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree (B.S.) in Civil Engineering or related field, with certification as an Engineering Intern (EI) or Professional Engineer (PE).
  • 2-6 years of experience as a licensed EI or PE, with excellent communication and writing skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams) and demonstrated ability to work in a team environment and collaborate with a variety of co-workers and teams.
  • Proven technical background and skillset, with municipal engineering background and experience.

Compensation and Benefits:

J-U-B offers a competitive salary range of $70,000 to $105,000 annually, determined by experience, as well as an extensive benefits package, including bonuses, medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) with company match, profit sharing, vacation, sick, and holiday pay, and ownership potential after three years.
