We are currently in search of a Senior Program/Project Management Analyst to provide support for our operations. This role involves collaboration with the NAVMPS IPT Lead.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate and participate in Integrated Product Team (IPT) meetings, contractor discussions, requirements assessments, design evaluations, logistics program reviews, and various technical meetings, ensuring accurate documentation of meeting outcomes.
- Engage in collaborative efforts with Program Manager offices, Program Executive Offices, and military services to align program strategies and explore innovative technologies.
- Gather, organize, and analyze data related to aircraft and weapon systems acquisition and product development.
- Support agile software development processes, including requirements analysis, planning, tracking, and product assessments.
- Conduct management, technical, or business case analyses to inform decision-making.
- Oversee the creation and management of acquisition documentation such as Program Initiation Documents (PID), Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRLs), and Statements of Work (SoW).
- Implement government-mandated processes for documentation, change control, and data management.
Specific Duties:
- Assist in planning activities by presenting alternative funding strategies and cost estimates for new program requirements.
- Monitor program progress and track vendor contract deadlines, identifying potential issues related to schedule conflicts and resource availability.
- Analyze requirements and schedules, recommending adjustments to ensure alignment with overall program objectives.
- Evaluate Total Ownership Cost (TOC), Should Cost, Cost-As-an-Independent-Variable (CAIV), and Life Cycle Cost (LCC) to inform strategic decisions.
- Provide insights and recommendations to support program initiatives, assessing potential returns on investment and associated risks.
- Conduct cost-benefit analyses and present value assessments to balance mission requirements with system constraints.
- Contribute to the development of planning documents, including white papers and trade studies, to support program execution and budget planning.
Qualifications:
A Senior-level candidate typically possesses over 10 years of experience and holds a Master's degree. This individual will work independently on high-visibility projects and may oversee less experienced staff.
Security Clearance:
Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance. U.S. Citizenship is required due to the sensitive nature of the work.
