Medical Support Specialist

Centra Health is seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant Certified to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support.
Key Responsibilities- Assist healthcare providers with examination and treatment of patients, ensuring accurate and timely documentation of patient information.
- Measure and record vital signs, including temperature, blood pressure, and pulse.
- Conduct patient interviews to obtain comprehensive health histories, identifying potential health risks and concerns.
- Provide health education and counseling to patients, promoting healthy lifestyle choices and disease prevention.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to develop and implement effective patient care plans.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Completion of a medical assisting program or equivalent experience.
- Current certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
