Salary Range

The Training Manager position comes with a salary range of $70,000 - $75,000 per year, commensurate with experience and internal equity factors.

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Training Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and delivering comprehensive training programs aligned with the Health Alliance for Violence Intervention (HAVI) Standards and Indicators. This role requires strong facilitation skills, excellent communication abilities, and a deep understanding of community violence intervention principles.

The Training Manager will work closely with the Associate Director to develop training materials, facilitate workshops, and provide technical assistance to staff of Hospital-based Violence Intervention Programs (HVIPs) across the nation.

This is an exempt full-time position that offers a competitive salary, flexible summer hours, vacation starting at 4 weeks annually, 13 paid holidays, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Requirements and Qualifications
  • A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in education or hospital-based violence intervention programs;
  • Bachelor's degree preferred, or 2 years of additional work experience;
  • Excellent communication skills and demonstrated experience in public speaking, facilitation, and/or training delivery;
  • Experience working in a virtual environment strongly preferred;
  • Operates with a lens of equity, social justice, and trauma-informed approaches;
  • Demonstrated understanding of health and racial equity, the root causes of inequities, and racism as a public health crisis;
  • Commitment to advancing racial equity, demonstrated cultural humility, and celebration of diverse perspectives and lived experiences;
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills in both virtual and in-person settings;
  • Ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment and to work independently and productively in a remote position.
