We are currently seeking a seasoned operations strategist to manage our community-based substance use service. This service operates in collaboration with various partners and external organizations.

Our focus is on engaging with local communities and forming partnerships across both public and voluntary sectors to prevent the escalation of substance use issues, mitigate harm, and promote active recovery.

As the leader of this established service, you will work in partnership with commissioners, colleagues, and stakeholders to ensure the service meets performance targets, integrates into the community, maintains stakeholder relationships, and employs innovative, evidence-based practices to provide high-quality interventions.

Key Responsibilities

We are looking for an individual with exceptional skills to lead the service, inspire collaboration, and co-create the best treatment and recovery services with teams, stakeholders, and the community.

The successful candidate will demonstrate:

  • Outstanding leadership and team management capabilities
  • Expertise in performance management, budgeting, and quality assurance systems
  • Ability to foster and maintain strong relationships with commissioners
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience managing sub-contracts and partnerships with diverse organizations
  • A proven track record in implementing quality assurance systems and acting as a registered manager
  • Experience in managing clinical services
