Job Responsibilities:
The individual in this role will be responsible for providing oversight and technical support in the management of data input and output within the Literacy, Adult and Community Education System (LACES) and other relevant data applications. Key responsibilities include:
1. Delivering professional development and technical assistance to ensure effective data collection and reporting.
2. Leading the federally mandated assessments of adult education programs.
3. Overseeing the high school diploma program and managing the Diploma Order Tracking System (DOTS).
4. Collaborating with the Office of Research and Data Analysis to compile required reports on adult education student demographics and dropout reasons.
5. Assisting in the preparation of the Performance Report and Data Quality Checklist for annual federal submissions.
6. Supporting adult education staff in the planning and execution of statewide initiatives to enhance adult education services.
Minimum Requirements:
A bachelor's degree along with relevant experience in education, management, or business is required.
Preferred Qualifications:
A master's degree in education or administration and at least five years of supervisory experience, preferably in adult basic education (ABE) and high school equivalency diploma (HSED) programs.
