We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Engineer to join our team at Viper Northwest, Inc. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for developing and improving manufacturing processes, tooling, and equipment to maintain proper product functionality and drive productivity.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs
  • Design and develop manufacturing systems, including tooling and equipment
  • Lead cross-functional teams to execute process improvements and productivity initiatives
  • Provide technical support to production, outsourcing providers, and purchasing
  • Design and develop fixtures and other aids needed by manufacturing
  • Provide customer product support on assigned projects
  • Mentor and lead other engineers on projects and process improvements
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or engineering technology
  • 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in a manufacturing or process engineering role
  • Experience with Lean methodologies, including 5S, SMED, VSM, Visual Management, and Problem Solving
  • Hands-on experience with machining processes, preferably with multi-axis milling and turning
  • Experience using ERP and MES software, preferably Infor10 ERP (Syteline) and ShopVue
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, with strong MS Excel skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
