Job Title: Mechanical Process Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Process Engineer to join our team at Technical Associates in Albany, GA. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for providing manufacturing and process engineering expertise for project design, commissioning, and start-up.

Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop manufacturing processes and layouts to meet project requirements.
  • Provide technical support to project leaders and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Supervise and train designers and design teams as needed.
  • Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.
  • Participate in and lead design reviews to ensure project scope, schedule, and budget are met.
  • Prepare and maintain project control forms and communicate with clients.
  • Manage own projects and coordinate work with designers.
Qualifications:
  • Ability to create Process and Instrument Diagram (P&ID) drawings.
  • Experience with designing machine components, HVAC, piping, and steam systems.
  • Strong understanding of project scope, budgeting, and scheduling.
  • Ability to direct designers, cad operators, and other engineers.
  • Experience with AutoCAD and 3D CAD software.
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Chemical Engineering.
  • PE License in the State of GA preferred.
Essential Functions:
  • Ability to climb ladders, walk over crossovers, and access equipment.
  • Ability to walk long distances and navigate a large manufacturing plant.
