Nephrology Care Specialist

As a Nephrology Care Specialist at DAVITA, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care in a hospital setting. With a strong focus on nephrology and renal therapies, this position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of patients with end-stage renal failure and chronic kidney disease.
About the RoleThis is a rewarding opportunity for a Registered Nurse to join our team and provide compassionate care to patients in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. No prior dialysis experience is required, as paid training is provided to ensure your success in this role.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver renal therapies, including hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis, CRRT, and apheresis, to patients in a hospital setting.
- Oversee patient observations, measurements, and machine setup, working closely with PCTs to ensure high-quality care.
- Promote a positive and supportive team environment, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
- An Associates Degree in Nursing (A.D.N.) from an accredited school of nursing or a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (B.S.N.) degree.
- No prior dialysis experience is required, but ICU, CCU, ER, or Med Surg experience can be beneficial.
