Job Summary

Connecticut Institute for Communities, Inc. is seeking a full-time Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist to join our multidisciplinary team in an outpatient community health setting. The successful candidate will work closely with our Chief of Behavioral Health and Chief Medical Officer to provide comprehensive psychiatric care to a diverse pediatric and adolescent patient population.

This is an excellent opportunity for a board-certified or eligible psychiatrist to develop their clinical leadership skills and make a meaningful impact in the lives of our patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and treat patients with mental and behavioral health disorders, including substance abuse disorders
  • Work closely with a multidisciplinary team to oversee treatment and medication management
  • Provide training and supervision to psychiatric residents
  • Collaborate with community partners to promote mental health and wellness

Requirements:

  • Physician's license and CSR from the State of Connecticut Department of Public Health
  • Board certification or eligibility
  • Previous clinical experience in crisis intervention, brief assessments, individual and group psychotherapy, and substance abuse treatment
  • At least 1 year of experience and previous supervision
