Join Our Team as a Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist to join our team at Connecticut Institute for Communities, Inc. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in evaluating and treating patients with mental and behavioral health disorders, including substance abuse disorders.

About the Role:

  • Evaluate and treat patients with mental and behavioral health disorders, including substance abuse disorders.
  • Work closely with a multidisciplinary team to oversee the treatment and medication management for a diverse pediatric/adolescent patient population.
  • Assist those in need and work with an underserved population.
  • Collaborate with Psychiatric Residents in a training and supervisory capacity.
  • Monday through Friday schedule with no on-call responsibilities.
  • Bilingual candidates are strongly encouraged to apply.

Requirements:

  • Physician's license and CSR from the State of Connecticut Department of Public Health.
  • Board certification or the ability to become certified.
  • Previous clinical responsibility to include crisis intervention, brief assessments, individual and group psychotherapy, and substance abuse treatment.
  • At least 1 year's experience and previous supervision is preferred.
