Job Title: Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist

CIFC Health, a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC), is seeking a full-time Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist to join our multidisciplinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and adolescents, and a commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate and treat patients with mental and behavioral health disorders, including substance abuse disorders.
  • Work closely with a multidisciplinary team to oversee treatment and medication management for a diverse pediatric/adolescent patient population.
  • Assist those in need and work with an underserved population.
  • Supervise Psychiatric Residents in a training and supervisory capacity.
Requirements:
  • Physician's license and CSR from the State of Connecticut Department of Public Health.
  • Board certification or the ability to become certified.
  • Previous clinical responsibility to include crisis intervention, brief assessments, individual and group psychotherapy, and substance abuse treatment.
  • At least 1 year's experience and previous supervision are preferred.
