Join Our Team as a Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist to join our team at Connecticut Institute For Communities, Inc. (CIFC). As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality mental health services to our pediatric and adolescent patients.

About the Role

This is a full-time position that requires a Physician's license and CSR from the State of Connecticut Department of Public Health. Board certification or the ability to become certified is required. Previous clinical responsibility to include crisis intervention, brief assessments, individual & group psychotherapy, and substance abuse treatment is necessary. At least 1 year's experience, and previous supervision, is preferred.

Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and treat patients with mental & behavioral health disorders, including substance abuse disorders.
  • Work closely with a multidisciplinary team to oversee the treatment and medication management for a diverse pediatric/adolescent patient population.
  • Assist those in need and work with an underserved population.
  • Collaborate with Psychiatric Residents in a training and supervisory capacity.
