Job Title: Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist

We are seeking a highly skilled Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist to join our team at Connecticut Institute For Communities, Inc. as a full-time employee.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for evaluating and treating patients with mental and behavioral health disorders, including substance abuse disorders, in an outpatient community health setting. The Psychiatrist will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to oversee the treatment and medication management for a diverse pediatric and adolescent patient population.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and treat patients with mental and behavioral health disorders, including substance abuse disorders
  • Work closely with a multidisciplinary team to oversee treatment and medication management
  • Provide crisis intervention, brief assessments, individual and group psychotherapy, and substance abuse treatment
  • Supervise psychiatric residents in a training and supervisory capacity

Requirements:

  • Physician's license and CSR from the State of Connecticut Department of Public Health
  • Board certification or ability to become certified
  • Previous clinical responsibility, including crisis intervention, brief assessments, individual and group psychotherapy, and substance abuse treatment
  • At least 1 year's experience and previous supervision
