San Francisco, California, United States DocuSign, Inc. Full time
Company Overview

DocuSign is at the forefront of transforming agreements into actionable insights. With over 1.5 million clients and a billion users across more than 180 nations, our solutions streamline business operations and enhance everyday experiences. By leveraging intelligent agreement management, we unlock critical business data that was previously isolated within documents, enabling organizations to save time, resources, and seize opportunities. As the leader in e-signature and contract lifecycle management (CLM), DocuSign empowers companies to create, execute, and oversee agreements seamlessly.

Role Overview

In this pivotal role, you will serve as a key analytics leader for DocuSign's lifecycle marketing initiatives. Your responsibilities will include working with intricate data sets, assessing and benchmarking campaign outcomes, designing and executing experiments to gauge campaign success, and playing an essential role in the ongoing enhancement of omni-channel marketing strategies throughout the customer journey on a global scale. Collaboration with various teams, including Lifecycle Marketing, Campaign Operations, and Data Science, will be crucial.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead analytics and key performance indicators for major lifecycle marketing campaigns across diverse channels (Email, in-product messaging, chat, web, etc.) and various stages of the customer journey - acquisition, onboarding, engagement, conversion, growth, and retention.
  • Identify and evaluate metrics to refine and optimize marketing strategies and expenditures.
  • Develop, maintain, and oversee dashboards for campaigns to swiftly assess performance and identify trends or anomalies.
  • Conduct comprehensive analyses of cohort performance and connect findings to campaign experiments.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Lifecycle Marketing and Campaign Operations to improve existing audience segmentation models and targeting strategies.
  • Support the experimentation framework for digital experiences: identify and prioritize opportunities, draft test charters, and work alongside fellow analysts and data scientists to analyze results and provide recommendations to stakeholders.
Job Designation

Hybrid: This role requires a combination of in-office and remote work, with a minimum of two days per week in the office.

Qualifications

Basic Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in a quantitative discipline (Statistics, Data Science, Finance, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related) with over 8 years of relevant experience in customer behavior analytics, or an Advanced Degree in a quantitative field with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
  • At least 6 years of SQL expertise with substantial hands-on experience in crafting complex queries across multiple database structures.
  • A minimum of 4 years of practical experience in marketing and campaign performance measurement.
  • At least 3 years of hands-on experience in A/B testing and experimentation, demonstrating a history of deriving conclusive results.
  • Proficiency in building dashboards using tools like Tableau, Qlik, PowerBI, or similar platforms.
  • Familiarity with at least one programming language, such as Python, R, Scala, Spark, or Perl.
  • Understanding of statistical concepts and analyses, including hypothesis testing, regression, and experimental design.
  • Experience with spreadsheet modeling, including pivot tables and complex formulas.
  • Ability to utilize both qualitative and quantitative analysis techniques.
  • Experience in navigating loosely defined requirements, employing analytical skills to collaborate with the team to develop solutions.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in optimizing campaigns to achieve superior conversion rates.
  • Familiarity with data science and data engineering principles.
  • Strong attention to detail with a focus on data quality and consistency.
  • Advanced data analysis capabilities, including database query construction, data warehousing, forecasting, and data mining.
  • Exposure to big data platforms such as Snowflake, Redshift, Azure, Matillion, or Alteryx.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex data analyses, insights, and recommendations to senior leadership.
