About the Role

Dovetail is a customer insights hub that helps teams build better products. We're looking for a Lifecycle Marketing Lead to drive user growth, revenue, and retention efforts. This role will be responsible for developing a data-driven lifecycle marketing plan that engages prospects and customers throughout our funnel.

Key Responsibilities

  • Set the vision and strategy for lifecycle marketing, building a plan that drives conversion, revenue, and mitigates churn.
  • Map out our customer journey into actionable segments, developing a comprehensive customer journey that maps every step of the prospect and customer experience.
  • Define and measure lifecycle marketing metrics, bringing a data-driven approach to establish goals and ensure we're measuring, experimenting, and improving them.
  • Collaborate across the business, working with Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, Product, and others to align on the needs of our prospects and customers.
  • Utilize data and A-B testing to deliver the right content at the right time, creating and optimizing segmentation and content personalization strategies.
  • Institutionalize email and customer comms best-practices, ensuring our high bar for design quality is upheld and our deliverability and messaging are elite.
  • Own the lifecycle marketing tool stack, identifying, evaluating, and implementing the right tools to drive customer acquisition, revenue, and retention.

Requirements

  • Strong lifecycle/customer marketing experience, with a proven track record of leading lifecycle marketing programs and expertise in email program management.
  • Data obsession, with a deep analytical understanding of the marketing funnel and levers to influence performance.
  • Extensive experience in Tech, with a minimum of 7 years working in the software or B2B technology industry.
  • Deep experience with marketing automation tools, including Salesforce and CRM systems.
  • Pragmatic and flexible, with the ability to adjust to shifting deadlines and project goals.

Compensation

Base salary: $160,000-$190,000. Compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Certain roles may be eligible for incentive compensation, equity, and benefits.
