Hospice Care Assistant

We are currently seeking an experienced Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our Hospice care team in Butler, Westmoreland, and Allegheny, PA. This role is perfect for those who are passionate about delivering exceptional patient care and making a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients and their families.
About the RoleAs a CNA on our Hospice care team, you will work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team, under the supervision of our Registered Nurse/Case Manager and Clinical Manager, to provide personalized care services that maximize the comfort and health of our patients. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Providing personal care services, such as reading and recording vital signs, maintaining a clean and safe environment, and assisting with daily living activities.
- Applying safety principles and proper body mechanics when assisting with mobility and transfers.
- Preparing and providing nutritious meals and fluids to meet the individual needs of our patients.
- Monitoring and reporting changes in patient status, including any changes in physical or emotional condition.
- Responding to emergency situations and implementing appropriate procedures when necessary.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- A valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in the state of PA.
- At least one year of experience as a CNA.
- Experience working in home health and/or hospice care, although not required.
- A valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Estimated salary: $45,000 - $60,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications. Generous bonuses and benefits package offered.
