As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing quality Physical Therapy services to our residents and patients. You will work under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist in an interdisciplinary environment at Lutheran SeniorLife Facilities/Agencies, including skilled nursing facilities, LIFE programs, home health and/or outpatient clinics.

The territory for this position includes Butler, Zelienople, Mars, Evans City, Ellwood City.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Licensed Physical Therapist in providing quality Physical Therapy services to residents and patients.
  • Work in an interdisciplinary environment to provide comprehensive care to our residents and patients.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each resident and patient.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Provide education and support to residents and patients to promote independence and wellness.

Requirements:

  • Associate's degree (A.A.) from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
  • Six months to one year related experience and/or training preferred.
  • Working knowledge of computer software required for documentation and communication.
  • Maintains current PA License as a Physical Therapist Assistant, including meeting continuing education requirements.
