Job Summary

  • Safety and Training: Assist in overseeing safety and training programs, plans, and processes to ensure compliance with company, contract, and regulatory requirements.
  • Client Management: Maintain client contact routinely to meet or exceed expectations and ensure client satisfaction.
  • Departmental Audits: Assist with conducting periodic departmental audits to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Operational Metrics: Daily, weekly, and monthly review of key operational metrics and report on such to the Region and Corporate Leadership, as well as the client.
  • Policies and Procedures: Implement, promote, and adhere to company policies and procedures to ensure consistency and compliance.
  • Employee Relations: Participate in location labor and employee relations activities to ensure a positive and productive work environment.
Qualifications
  • Management Experience: One to three years of management experience in a similar sized Fixed Route environment.
  • Scheduling and Personnel Management: Experience in scheduling and personnel management, with a strong understanding of transportation operations.
  • Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work independently.
  • Contractual Obligations: Knowledge of contractual obligations to perform this job correctly.
  • Company Policy: Knowledge of company policy to ensure consistent measures are used to assess driver activity.
  • Fast Paced Environment: Experience managing a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines.
