Branch Banking Manager Trainee

The Branch Banking Manager Trainee participates in a comprehensive program to prepare for a branch management role. Upon completion, the manager trainee is capable of performing sales, servicing, and operational functions in a branch setting. Responsibilities include managing a portfolio of High Value Clients (HVC), identifying customer banking needs, and cross-selling bank products. The program aims to develop the trainee into a Universal Banker III or Assistant Manager. Training duration lasts several months and consists of assignments covering various complex duties.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a portfolio of High Value Clients (HVC)
  • Identify customer banking needs and cross-sell bank products
  • Perform sales, servicing, and operational functions in a branch setting
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution or equivalent experience
  • 1+ Years sales and customer service experience
  • 2+ Years branch operations and retail financial product sales experience

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
  • Teller and new account certification required within 6 months of hire
  • Proficiency in PC and MS Office applications

Physical Demands:
  • Able to lift up to 20lbs
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work in an office setting and adapt to different environments
