Job Description:

As an ERP Program Manager at Cynet Systems, you will be responsible for leading the planning, execution, and delivery of enterprise-wide ERP projects. This role requires a strong understanding of project management principles, as well as experience working with cloud-based ERP platforms such as SAP, Infor, Oracle, or Workday.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with project managers to develop project schedules, budgets, and goals.
  • Document and manage dependencies between projects and workstreams.
  • Manage project launch teams to ensure project scope and outcome are achieved.
  • Execute, monitor, and control project schedules, costs, deliverables, risk management, and scope to meet or exceed stakeholder and customer expectations.
  • Allocate resources and manage project teams, proactively managing potential conflicts and resource constraints.
  • Work across business units to resolve elevated issues internally and with customers, ensuring barriers to program progress are removed.
  • Manage scope change within projects, orchestrating responses to customer scope changes in collaboration with State leadership.
  • Provide guidance and support to lower-level project managers.
  • Collaborate with executive management to achieve program and project goals and objectives.
  • Facilitate communication across projects and cross-functional teams.
  • Manage program and associated project budgets.
  • Work with State leadership to minimize new or competing projects.
Requirements:
  • 20+ years of enterprise project management/program management experience.
  • At least 5+ years working with a cloud-based ERP platform (SAP, Infor, Oracle, or Workday).
  • Relevant certifications including PMP, PGMP, or other recognized licenses or certifications.
  • Strong knowledge of project management tools.
  • Strong knowledge of the SDLC project life cycle.
  • Experience working with data systems and acting as a liaison between business users and technical staff.
  • Strong leadership skills, including building effective teams, managing conflict, setting priorities, and defining roles and responsibilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to moderate and lead projects, drive technical decisions, and prepare technical and strategic issues for management decisions.
  • Effective strategic, long-term, and planning thought processes.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills to project teams and State leadership.
  • Understanding of how data systems interact.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Project, Visio, SharePoint, Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Project Online, or other project/program portfolio management tools.
  • Understanding and use of document management and version control.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working with large public sector customers (another state or large county).
